These beautifully hand crafted vases are recreated from the classical 16th century french design. Plan a garden around these attactive pots, which were used by those in the Anduze region for holding orange trees. The orange trees were planted in Anduze vases as the trees would need to be protected from frost in the winter and brought inside. They became very popular throughout the region, and are still popular today. The original drip glaze, showing the passage of time, can be seen on these containers.
