Paule Marrot - Lillies - Natural Curiosities
Vendor: Natural Curiosities
Paule Marrot, French artist and textile designer, is brought to life by Natural Curiosities for a series of bright, charming, and timeless fine art.
Natural Curiosities acquired the beautiful textile archives of French engraver, painter, and textile artist Paule Marrot (1902-1987). Early in her career, Marrot shifted her emphasis from painting to textiles, creating expressive patterns from the 1920s through the 1950s. The artist's bold use of flowers, color and patterns reflect a modernist style classically associated with the Art Deco movement. One of her biggest fans was Jacqueline Kennedy who used Marrot's floral fabrics in the White House. Framed in gorgeous acrylic for a modern touch. "Lillies" features a wonderful water scene of blue, green colors.
Framed - 44" high x 56" wide x 1.5
